Lady and the Lamp
John Lasseter made this masterpiece when he was at CalArts in 1979. Truly a rare find, not even on Pixar "special" DVDs. John Lasseter's suttle story writing qualities are evident in this film about a human-like lamp that panics and accidentally gets drunk! Found this on an old Betamax tape, part of a Cinemax "short stop" time filler, likely recorded in 1985. Watch this, then compare to any of Lasseter's Pixar movies.
