"American deaths in Iraq are divine punishment for a country that he says harbors homosexuals. His protesters carry signs thanking God for so-called IEDs". ... a band of motorcyclists rolls around the country from one soldier's funeral to another, cheering respectfully to overshadow jeers from church protesters.

People suck. (And I mean the anti-gay protestors in this case.)

Wow. Can you say "Misguided Frustration"? Whether you agree with the war or not, you should respect the people who are fighting and dying for it - especially when they pay the ultimate sacrifice.

Disgraceful... and they were singing out of key.

Quite disgusting how these people think preaching "God hates you" is somehow what they're supposed to be doing. What Bible are *they* reading?? As despicable as such behaviour is, I do not think that states should prevent it. I think there are enough people out there with common sense to drown out these peoples' venom.

Disgusting Human Being.

That's one of the worst things I've ever seen. I'm a Christian, and I am deeply offended by this. It shows a real lack of ethics, morals, and just common sense. God does not hate homosexuals.

This is just one family that is traveling all over protesting, not an actual "church". They need charges brought against them or something.

They are a product of their country, as much as their religion, a country which believes you are un-American if you are different where the president is a far right Christian, religion and government should always remain separate.

How disgusting these people are. Thank God they are a small fringe group and are not any sort of movement like the Islamo fascists. It’s sad that there is a much larger group and a movement of loony leftists in this country and others that protest with hate like this. They think we deserved Sept 11 as well as prior and future terrorist attacks. They don’t have a problem that we allow gay people in the military, just that we allow anyone in the military. This reminds me of how Michael Moore used the funeral of a soldier for his propaganda movie without the permission of his mother. Moore used lies and purposeful distortions. The woman was very upset about it and spoke out, but had a hard time getting coverage in the media. Go figure.

Shirley Roper Phelps has said the same things about Canada... That's where I'm From... She doesn't have to come here... I doubt she'd be welcome, or that she'd even get past customs...
