Hyena Square

Elisa Joseph came to town when she was thirteen, following promises for a job and the possibility to go to school. At the age of fifteen she had already been raped by her employer and stayed three months in prison. She ended up as a sex worker in Dar es Saalaam's infamous Uwanja wa Fisi (Hyena Square). Today she saves other girls from that life.
