Sex Pistols "Anarchy In The UK"

Classic Sex Pistols. They influenced much of the hard, harsh, and loud of the 80's and 90's and even today. Watching this video, though, they seem way tamer than I remember.

Post Punk Kitchen Episode 1

In our very first episode, we roll up a bunch of vegan sushi and finish it all off with a batch of chocolate-orange cupcakes. This was before we hit on the genius idea of musical guests, so it's just us, solo, rocking the airwaves of Brooklyn! Okay, not the airwaves, since it's cable, but you get the picture.

Trailer for Scumrock with Donnie Darko's James Duvall!

Trailer for the film by critically acclaimed Jon Moritsugu: Scumrock, now available on Google Video. With this film, Moritsugu takes on both the pretentions of underground filmmakers and the indie rock scene. Parallel stories involve a sensitive filmmaker struggling to make his masterpiece and an aging punk vocalist trying to save her slowly failing band. Shot in analog Hi-8 with an intentionally cheap (and at times blown out) look, Scumrock is a biting view of two segments of the underground art world. Starring Amy Davis, Kyp Malone (from the band TV on the Radio), James Duvall ("Donnie Darko"), and Victor of Aquitaine. Soundtrack features J-Church, the Gossip, Skull Kontrol, The Monorchid, Toni Ann, The Mollybolts, and Camelot.
