Herv is a character I designed for an animation I'm making. These are some concept sketches. I'm getting used to holding a camera while I'm drawing.
Sketchbook #3 Drawing whilst drunk
I got drunk one evening and decided I wanted to draw a picture. For some reason I decided the best way to do this would be to tape felt pens to each of my fingers. This didn't quite produce the result I was looking for so I taped pastels to my fingers instead and that gave a much better effect. I then painted in the background with acrylic paint and my fingers. Following the same basic concept as before I decided it would be a great idea to tape every paintbrush I own to my fingers and paint the face in watercolour. I then attacked the paper with pastels and paint to finish it off. I woke up the next morning with paint all over my walls and floor and the taste of paint in my mouth. Song: Steriogram - Walkie Talkie Man This video was made in association with warm beer and a cask of wine.
