A whole generation of British people found this quite funny (this being the first "ITV Schools" series, the second "Tomorrow's World" series was a disappointment) as it's a not entirely inaccurate description of "Television for Schools and Colleges" as broadcast by BBC 1 and ITV during school hours (Channel 4 wasn't out cak then and BBC 2 carried the Open University) This programme is in the 70s Secondary Schools style yet it's familiar to me who attended high school in the mid to late 90s due to the school having had a VCR back then and reusing the ancient copy, not surprising considering our A-Level Chemistry text books dated from back then as well. Underfunding really comes home to you when the text book you're taking notes from is older than you.
The Lego Amstrad Apprentice show rolls on! And who'd have thought Karen would have gone! The one builds on the 'assertions' out there that this week, the firing scene was edited, like the rest of the world (including me) the creators believe that nutter Jo should have went instead of the cool, calm and collected (but giving off the impression that, at the end, she was just too good for Amstrad, meaning she would have gone at some point anyway) Karen. Bring on next week!
Sir Alan Sugar's back on the BBC and he's mean when it comes to dismissing the useless (and Nargis was useless) Mind you, seeing the Wernham-Hogg scenario that is the boy's team (only with more then one David Brent) you have to wonder how the hell did this lot get ON the programme...
