Group 301 Presents Odyssey: Drive Around the World
Follow a crew of young wanderers as they strike out on a grueling one-year journey around the world. You will discover the diversity of culture and geography with a group of volunteers who dropped everything for an adventure of a lifetime... Departing from California, the team drives overland for 12 months and 66,000 km. Their highly equipped 4x4s take them to the far corners of the globe where they find their minds and friendships pushed to the limits. Despite some hardships they continue to explore and interact with the fascinating cultures and landscapes encountered during their passage through the 26 nations that define the Great Pacific Rim. Visit a coffee plantation in Costa Rica and help the workers load beans, spend New Years Eve in Guayaquil, Ecuador with the team as they burn effigies with the locals, go underwater with them as they take their first diving lesson on the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns Australia, and meet the Dalai Lama at his Indian home in exile as he wishes the team luck on their journey.
